After leading by 18 points in the first half, the Los Angeles Lakers were staring at a four-point deficit with less than two minutes to play but Kobe Bryant hit a baseline jump shot with 4.2 seconds left and the Lakers wrapped up a six-game road trip by holding on to beat the Raptors 94-92 while RAjon Rondo recorded a triple-double with 32 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds in a 95-91 victory over the Chicago Bulls, who were without star guard Derrick Rose. JaVale McGee, who was born in nearby Flint and started his high school career at Detroit Country Day, had 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Wizards to an easy 98-72 victory over the Detroit Pistons while Miami's most difficult stretch of the regular season couldn’t have gotten off to an easier start. LeBron James scored 23 points, Dwyane Wade added 21 and Chris Bosh grabbed a season-high 16 rebounds, leading Miami to a 107-87 rout of the Hawks. Monta Ellis had 33 points and seven assists, David Lee added 15 points and 13 rebounds and the Golden State Warriors beat the Houston Rockets 106-97 for their second straight victory over a Western Conference playoff contender while Al Jefferson had 21 points and a season-high 15 rebounds, and Gordon Hayward added 23 points as the Utah Jazz snapped a three-game losing streak with a 98-88 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
