NBA Recap, Top Ten Plays and Photo Gallery for January 14, 2012
RECAP:
The team-oriented Philadelphia 76ers are without a superstar but are still in winning form as they win again against the Washington Wizards while Kemba Walker provided the energy to lead the Bobcats and turn back the Warriors. Ricky Rubio led the pack of Timberwolves for the second time but fell short as the Hawks rallied from 18 down to beat them and the Boston Celtics are showing the "signs" as the Pacers showed that they are now a force to be reckoned with in the East. The lead Bull is back scoring 18 points and dishing out 11 assists in their battle against the Raptors while the Thunder roared past the Carmelo-less Knicks, the Grizzlies were too much for the Hornets and the Rockets soared for another win against the Blazers. D-Will was back in Utah but Al Jeffereson had other plans and spoiled the former All-Star pointguard's comeback and no King could supplant the reigning champs as Vince Carter turned back time to help the Mavs rout Sacramento. Kobe Bryant went for another 40-point game but still lost to the new LA team lead by Chris Paul who scored 9 less than Kobe's but was more effective in the Los Angeles City clash.
