NBA Recap, Top Plays and Photo Gallery for January 28, 2012

RECAP:

Andre Igoudala had 10, 10, and 10 for his 8th triple-double of his career on his 28th birthday to lead the 76ers in a blow-out of the Detroit Pistons while the Wizards still have their spell on the Bobcats, winning again at 102-99. Carmelo Anthony is still out, and the Knicks are lost without him. Kevin Martin is also out, but the Rockets are finding people willing to step up and win games. Kobe Bryant made six free throws to break Jerry West's franchise record for free throws made but couldn't break the Lakers' road woes as they lose to the Stephen Jackson-less Bucks 100-89. After winning 7 straight games, the Grizzlies lost 3 straight as Jared Dudley made two free throws with 3.3 seconds remaining to lift the Phoenix Suns to a 86-84 victory while the Utah Jazz snapped a two-game losing streak, defeating Sacramento 96-93 and spoiling Jimmer Fredette’s return to the state where “Jimmermania” began.
