NBA Recap, Top Plays and Photo Gallery for January 25, 2012

Recap:

Kris Humphries is leaving behind his troubled past with Kim Kardashian along with that of his team as he had 13 points then pulled down 19 rebounds to help Deron Williams and the Nets survive an overtime period with the 76ers. Carmelo Anthony, who had just 1 point in the Knicks previous outing, had a messed-up thumb and a messed-up team as they were outhustled by the Cavs while Washington had a new head Wizard who did wonders by blowing out the Bobcats in his first game. There were no freethrow shooting woes this time in Miami as Lebron calmly sank six freethrows in the final 1:19 to lift the Heat 101-98 over the Pistons while Oklahoma City thundered over the Hornets for their 10th win in 11 games before going on the road. In Indiana, the Pacers held the MVP to two points in the fourth quarter on their way to a 95-90 victory over the Bulls while Stephon Jackson and Brandjon Jennings each scored 20 to finally give the Bucks a win in Houston. The Dallas Mavs got their championship rings, but Kevin Love and the Timberwolves spoiled the celebration while the Hawks got manhandled by the Spurs in a 22-point blowout. The Raptors also finally got a win in Salt Lake City since 2004 while Danilo Gallinari is on a roll leading the Nuggets in a 122-93 rout of the Sacramento Kings. Kobe Bryant and the Lakers aren't ready to hand over Los Angeles yet as they spoiled Chris Paul's return in a 96-91 victory over their rival tenant and Stephen Curry scored a season-high 32 points with 7 assists and 6 rebounds to help the Warriors dominate the Portland Blazers 101-93
