NBA Recap and Top 10 Plays for January 4, 2012

Dwight Howard's Magic overpowered the Wizardz spells who are still winless in the shortened 2011-2012 NBA season while Bargani led his charge of Raptors against the Cavaliers to win it 99-72. The Indiana Pacers wanted to continue their winning ways but so did the Miami who turned on the heat and got back on the winning track. The Bobcats were lousy the last time around, but the spring was back in their legs as they beat the Knicks 118-110. The Nets are not helping their case to get Howard to come to New Jersey as they lose again and again, this time to the Celtics triggered by Paul Pierce in the third quarter. Richard Hamilton returned to his old stomping grounds but with a new herd who beat his old herd 99-83 while the Grizzlies overpowers the Timberwolves to win it 90-86. The 76ers were tired from all the traveling and really needed a holiday to get their legs back, but Holiday went to work to beat the Hornet's attack. Dirk Nowitzki played his 1000th game for the win against his best friend Steve Nash while Tony Parker picked up the slack for Manu Ginobili who's out for 2 months to help the Spurs overcome the determined Warriors. The troubled King was back but he still couldn't stop from losing against the Denver Nuggets while the Rockets were blown away by Chris Paul's Clippers.
